Source hierarchy

RankCurrent prioritizes primary manufacturer or provider documentation, official regulatory and certification records, and transparent independent testing. Reputable trade sources, established distributors, and customer evidence can provide corroboration or market context when their limits are clear.

Claim to evidence to source

Every material public fact follows a traceable chain: a normalized claim identifies what is asserted, an evidence record states whether a source supports, contradicts, or contextualizes it, and the source record identifies publisher, type, tier, freshness, and verification date.

What remains visible

Missing information stays missing. Contradictory evidence is preserved. AI output is never accepted as ranking evidence.

Score is not evidence quality

Organic score, evidence coverage, and confidence are separate outputs. More sources do not automatically raise a score, and a commercial relationship is disclosure metadata only.
