How RankCurrent evaluates a category
RankCurrent freezes scope, criteria, weights, evidence rules, missing-data treatment, and tie policy before comparing candidates.
Scores are not opinions
Every public score must reproduce from evidence-linked inputs under a versioned 100-point rubric. Evidence coverage and confidence remain separate from score.
Missing evidence stays missing
Unknown, not disclosed, not applicable, and verified absent are different states. RankCurrent applies only the disposition frozen in the category contract and never reallocates missing weight to a stronger criterion.
Publication is gated
A ranking can publish only after its research run, contracts, evidence links, fact checks, deterministic score, disclosures, and publication state pass the canonical gate. Failed or incomplete records remain unpublished; commercial relationships cannot change the result.
History is immutable
Material evidence, score, order, eligibility, confidence, or disclosure changes create a reviewed successor. Earlier published versions remain identifiable in ranking history.
